Return & Exchange Policy
At The Kantha Store by Farah Khan, every piece is handcrafted in limited quantities using traditional Kantha embroidery techniques. We encourage customers to review product details carefully before placing an order, as each creation is unique and may carry natural variations inherent to handmade textiles.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
If you are unsatisfied with the product for any reason, we have a “No Questions Asked Returns Policy”.
Returns or exchanges will be accepted only if:
- the request is made within 7 days of delivery,
- the product remains unused, unworn, and unwashed,
- original tags, packaging, and invoices are intact,
- the item is returned in its original condition.
Products that do not meet these conditions may not qualify for return or exchange.
Non-Returnable Items
The following categories are not eligible for return or exchange:
- customized or altered products,
- blouse-stitched sarees,
- made-to-order pieces,
- sale or discounted items,
- gift cards (if applicable).
Handmade Variations
Minor irregularities in embroidery, weave, texture, or colour are intrinsic to handcrafted textiles and are not considered defects. These characteristics celebrate the individuality and authenticity of handmade Kantha creations.
Damaged or Incorrect Products
In the rare event that you receive a damaged or incorrect item, kindly notify us within 48 hours of delivery by email or WhatsApp, along with:
- clear photographs of the product,
- packaging images,
- and an unboxing video.
Claims submitted beyond this timeframe may not be eligible for review.
Refund Process
Once the returned product is received and inspected, approved refunds will be processed within 5 – 7 business days through the original payment method.
Shipping charges, customs duties, and taxes (where applicable) are non-refundable.
International Returns
For international orders:
- return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer,
- customs duties and import charges are non-refundable,
- exchange timelines may vary depending on destination country and customs procedures.
Care Instructions
To preserve the beauty and longevity of your handcrafted textile, we recommend:
- dry clean only,
- avoiding direct sunlight for prolonged periods,
- storing in a cool, dry space,
- handling delicate embroidery with care.
Shipping Policy
1. At The Kantha Store, we take great care in delivering your products to you, and we partner only with reputed national couriers(DTDC & Delhivery). Shipping within India is FREE for all orders above Rs. 4999/-. For orders below that, we charge a flat Rs. 150/- shipping fee.
2. For International Orders a flat shipping charge of Rs. 2000/- will be added to the price of the product. We use only reputed international couriers i.e. Fedex /DHL/Aramex Couriers for international shipping. Please note that any additional customs / charges at the destination country will have to be borne by the clients, as per their respective country laws.
3. Our courier partners will be able to deliver the shipment to you between Monday through Saturday: 9 AM to 7 PM. Delivery time is subject to factors beyond our control including unexpected travel delays from our courier partners and transporters due to weather conditions, strikes and govt. regulations.
4. Address change will be accepted only if order has not been shipped.
5. We will Email / WhatsApp your package tracking information, as soon as your package is shipped out.
